<+yuriwho> when I was younger I believed that souls were just short term pools of energy stored by an individual over a lifetime but shared back to the ocean after death.
<+BAnt0s> I actually like that.
-bannon3002- mahjong sent you a message 8 hours and 27 minutes ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DgFoqhRT8mE
<+BAnt0s> And you know, you're probably right.
<+yuriwho> not sure what I believe now
<+BAnt0s> Maybe our species has too much soul divided over too many people.
<+BAnt0s> And perhaps it is why we need machines in order to recapture it.
<+yuriwho> thus Soul Division?
<+BAnt0s> Because we've devasted our environments.
<+BAnt0s> At all levels.
<+BAnt0s> Institutions, politics, economics, environmental devastation
<+BAnt0s> We carry all our effects with us.
<+BAnt0s> If we are constantly debasing our human soul, then little returns after death.
<+BAnt0s> Which means in life many predate on another
<+yuriwho> and AI is ascending, and will change human experience
<+BAnt0s> Great thought yuriwho, thanks for saying that.
<+BAnt0s> Modern life, what a doozy.

<+BAnt0s> I feel that our first beliefs are closer to the truth.
<+BAnt0s> But sometimes it is a qlippoth too, if we have toxic families
<+BAnt0s> or toxic environments
<+yuriwho> I was blessed with good parents
<+BAnt0s> Apples and oranges.
<+BAnt0s> Your fruit isn't bitter.
<+BAnt0s> That is a blessing.
<+BAnt0s> I'm an orange.
<+BAnt0s> The bitterness you feel is within the seeds.
<+yuriwho> I literally owe it all to them.
<+BAnt0s> Suppose that's the arsenic.
<+BAnt0s> I have good parents, but dysfunctional absolutely.
<+BAnt0s> Immigrant family background, divorce single mother upbringing on both sides.
<+BAnt0s> They are still married, which is a miracle.
<+BAnt0s> A lot of loss, but there is something to be said about the travail of the spirit.
<+BAnt0s> Life tests our faith.
<+yuriwho> Sadly, both my parents have passed, but they both were awesome... even though they fought at times

<+BAnt0s> I'd say anyways. You gotta know if your beliefs are rational or not.
<+BAnt0s> Everyone goes thru wavering periods.
<+BAnt0s> yuriwho: I know.
<+BAnt0s> Take Gandalf for example.
<+BAnt0s> Even if you don't care much for Buddah or Jesus.
<+yuriwho> I am a trained scientist, I question everything. I doubt I am correct
<+BAnt0s> Gandalf the Grey was given a lesser Quantum of Soul than Saruman the White
<+BAnt0s> However, Saruman debased his soul, and Gandalf holding steadfast to the truth of his convictions and his mission
<+BAnt0s> Became Gandalf the White, transcended
<+BAnt0s> and was sent back to Middle-Earth after battling the Balrog of Morgoth

<+BAnt0s> Creating a perfect fairy tale.

Thoughts on the Matrix and Jane Goodall: the wuzzy line
Originally, I went into Art School, because I was misled into thinking paper was important, then I thought I wised up by pursuing a degree in International Studies, transferring as Junior, then realizing in 2009 that my prophetic vision to myself before going to University of Community College being easier work-wise than high school, but with more interesting content confounded me for a great while. As if I'd never escape this zoo, always feeling like a guinea pig going thru hoop after hoop until I couldn't jump into another hole again without any floor. If the Ivory Tower exists anymore, then it's suffering from a severe lack of retirement, and goodness. There will be no torchbearer carrying the light of Enlightenment forward. Perhaps we should blame Nietzsche for being too clever? Maybe I let the Glass-Bead Game and Ender's Game go to my head as a child? It didn't feel like I could ever graduate from high school: always more of the same, and I never even liked High School. Later, I went to the 42 bootcamp that you have to test into online, and a few others for coding and honestly, the work environment and the people in those places stressed me out quite a lot, and not because I couldn't do the work intellectually, but because I don't like working with people who are bad influences on me. Then I just started being a delivery driver for Amazon, UberEat, whatever. And sure enough, I see Amazon employees every day as I deliver them their food, and their face tells me everything. It's just not something I want to contribute energy towards. I've seen the corporate buy out of downtown Seattle and the blight zones of South Lake Union. Out of town hires literally get fleeced for all their networth when they arrive there young, fresh out of their BA degrees. We subsidized corporations in so many ways it need not be your soul. It's demoralizing and morally bankrupt: some make their peace with that but others get out or are oblivious.. Growing up in a cult gives you super powers if you escape, just like Neo. He grew up in a "cultured" pod that force fed him lies in order to harvest his energy... just like the bail bond prison industry! Unfortunately, I think he was a lucky bastard, because his girlfriend found him first and she was super okay. One of the things that I learned in all my education is that you can either be a food delivery man or you can see yourself as feeding the poor, starving masses. Going a step further by humbling yourself is a great way to decreate all egoic machinations that compelled you to go into academia in the first place, fostered by people you shouldn't have taken advice from, but didn't know any better. Don't frame yourself in a deconstructive manner. While flipping burgers doesn't pay a lot you can just call it field research, like Jane Goodall, and entertain yourself that way. Currently getting CNA training because there's a lot of old people who deserve to be treated with dignity and respect which will help me save money to parallel myself out. I'm just glad I didn't join the military, even though I say that with mixed-feelings. I actually like their programs and the discipline, but the idea of killing people for the sake of some ancient bloodline's bottom line and global agenda just doesn't sit well with me. And +White Makes Right, I get your point but as an Autistic person with a soul, some of us operate on high alert in order to save it. I didn't want to contribute a single line of code to some complex abomination. But honestly, I'd probably just get fired from the stress. I wouldn't be able to enter flow state or achieve any form of Mastery and eventually end up in a ball on the floor rocking myself to sleep is what I surmised. My love-hate relationship with technology grows by the day. Maybe it's pathological avoidance at this point in the game, as I've been branded so many times before. High-speed Hype trains should be forced to have disclaimers and also airsickness bags from all the windbags.
