What a wet blanket?

A lot of what she's doing is actually minimizing the people who are vehemently discriminated against. Poor Black folk. Even poor White folk have it bad. Poor people have it bad! People who move into any neighborhood where they don't seem to belong are made to FEEL bad. This isn't isolated to just people of color. Some of this is just the trials and travails of being effaced by the reality of human nature!

Half the her so-called moments of perceived racism aren't actually racism. They don't even hold up to passive scrutiny. It is she who is privileged and are trying to exonerate herself among those who would be envious of you, or rather, you seek social prestige due to your virtues of being privileged. You seem to fraternize enough to know how this benefits you: re-imagining all your personal slights as insult to injury, belying racism and privileges due to your class 'pedigree', behind a fort of lace. This is the type that is smug, entitled, elitist, privileged, and sheltered. Being able to have a perceived chip on her shoulder in order to show other's who identify with her, due to the color of her skin, as being one of them.

Racism will end in this country when people realize we are separated by Class and not Race predominantly, but you keep insisting things you experience are racism, when they are in fact not mutually exclusive to you, regardless of your ethnicity.

"the white privilege in this situation is being able to move into a “nice” neighborhood and be accepted not harassed, made to feel unwelcome, or prone to acts of vandalism and hostility."
This was in reference to boys who threw rocks into her family's pool. What about all the kids who teepee houses during Halloween or other such pranks upon their unsuspecting White neighbors, as if it makes a difference, broadly. And yes, I am speaking broadly, because in a sardonic fashion I am making light of her perceived slight. I'm not trying to garner sympathy, but simply point out that there is not advantage to being White among other White folk unless they think you are of the same stratification as them, regardless of the color of your skin.

This article doesn't even hold up to passive scrutiny... As someone who has had many privileges due to my social class, I easily see thru her bullshit, and also recognize that my family is a lot different than other White families. The perception of White people is beyond ridiculous. We come in many different stripes.
My family moved into a predominantly white neighborhood, but we weren't perceived to be of the same class as them, and so we were scrutinized. What gives? Sometimes you have to work extra hard in order to convince people through your actions due to implicit biases that seek to undermine you as an individual.
Those kids just so happened to be boys, who are much more aggressive than girls, and need to be learn how to discipline themselves from impulses much more than most young girls. This includes having respect for other's personal property as not an extension of their pranks.
